The Roscoe Head is Saved

We are delighted to announce the battle to save the Roscoe Head has finally been won.

After many years of campaigning, lobbying & sheer determined effort, Carol finally won her battle and is the new owner of the Roscoe Head, now a free house.

We would like to extend our heartiest thanks to all our loyal customers & followers in Liverpool, across the UK & around the world and look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.

In her November 2020 interview with the Liverpool Echo, Carol said:

I would like to thank my local councillors, especially Cllr Nick Small who has continued to support me throughout these hard times.

Many thanks also to Liverpool CAMRA’s Pubs Protection Officer Graham Murray and Steve Downing for organising the Asset of Community Value during lockdown and to Greg Mulholland, Campaign for Pubs Campaign Director and Chair of the British Pub Confederation for supporting my case.

Thanks also to my MP Kim Johnson and Gill from legals and special thanks to Kathy Allen of Liverpool City Council, it was a big project during lockdown believe me
